The “Weapon” is the all around fishing lure used drift fishing on Lake Erie. The weapon catches walleye and is easy to make, saves money, covers all the bases, weight, colors, blade sizes to match Lake Erie’s constantly changing fishing conditions.
Use the walleye weapon for casting rigs and bottom bouncer sets. It can be tied with a single hook or double hooks. The only difference between a casting rig or a bottom bouncer rig is the length of line used when tying. I personally tie my casting rigs long enough so when the line by the hook frays from walleye teeth, I can cut the hook off before it breaks and tie another one on!
